Run, Forrest, run! My good friend Tony Riddle has set off on the journey of a lifetime, running the length of the United Kingdom from Land’s End to John o’ Groats entirely barefoot. In the midst of one of the scariest climate emergencies ever recorded, Tony’s goal is to raise £25,000 for five organisations working towards a sustainable future, for his children and for all of us.

His decision to run barefoot sends the powerful message that we have become completely disconnected from our environment, and that reconnecting to nature is the first step towards a greater respect for our planet — which just might be its saving grace. Tony will be running 30 miles every day for 30 days (!!!) and I will be joining him for a small part of the journey to show him my support. What an amazing thing he’s doing.

Keep an eye out on Instagram for my interview with Tony and head to his website to help him raise funds for the environment.
