Following on from the great success of my first East by West retreat in Portugal earlier this year, I am so excited to announce my second one — this time a little bit closer to home at the stunning Avalon, a centre of calm inside the idyllic Broughton Hall Estate in Yorkshire.

During the four day retreat, from 7-10 November, we will be embracing the cold and the onset of winter, getting cosy Ayurveda-style. I will introduce guests to the basics of Ayurveda, with workshops sharing how to  nurture the harmony of our mind, body and spirit and tune into the natural ebb and flow of our own true nature and environment around us  — something we could all do with a bit more of in this fast-paced world of overstimulation and life stresses. Guests will have the opportunity to decompress in crystal alchemy sound bath sessions, and through meditation and yoga.

Once again hosted in partnership with Red magazine, the retreat will be an opportunity to enjoy a cleansing and nourishing Ayurvedic menu geared towards honouring the seasonal change seasons changing, as we move from autumn into winter. My good friend, and Ayurvedic Vaidya, Dr Mathew will also be on hand for consultations in which you can learn more about your Doshic make-up and current imbalances, something I will also go into more detail on during my workshops.

Guests will leave feeling reinvigorated and empowered with the knowledge of Ayurveda and armed with the practicalities of how to easily incorporate its intuitive framework into their modern day lives. They will also receive a signed copy of East by West and an Ayurvedic goody bag filled with bits from some of my favourite natural and holistic brands.
